About Katherine Christensen

Katherine Christensen was born and raised in the in the Pacific Northwest which she proudly calls home. Her Irish, English, and Danish heritage has afforded her first hand observation of strong women figures with assorted ethnologies. Bringing the saga of her female ancestral role models to life is her passion. To Katherine, it permits the women of today to bear first hand witness of our ancient sisters’ achievements often neglected or erased by historians.

Besides an avid writer, Katherine has spent much of her career in Corporate Information Technology. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast and can often be found hiking in the northwest wilderness areas with her favorite hiking buddy, Lucy, a very athletic Australian Shepherd.
